The Loop
You’ve arrived at the centre of the Loop, but there are two ways in. Two paintings, two different paths. Have you walked both? One conceals secrets in the ordinary, the other carries a signal smouldering in reverse. They form a loop of meaning that arcs between them. The Spy and Pandemonium are joined by the same question; what do we overlook when something feels familiar? In both, the truth isn’t buried. It’s sitting in plain sight, softened by routine, beauty, and the quiet hum of the expected.
They are also part of a larger loop: the Art Trail that connects them. That trail exists within yet another loop; the shape of the town itself. Each layer echoes the others, like a fractal of questions, symbols, and paths. A loop within a loop within a loop. The deeper you go, the more it reveals.
Thank you for taking the time to look closer. If you felt something along the way or would like to share a thought, I’d love to hear from you. Please drop me a note.
